About North Swan Beach

A four-wheel-drive vehicle is needed to access vacation homes in this area, as there are no roads and guests must drive up the beach. There are no stores or shops on the 4x4 beaches. Vacationers and locals alike must “head into town” to Corolla for necessities.

This uniquely wonderful area of the Outer Banks provides an ideal backdrop for guests seeking a more adventuresome beach getaway, void of commercial distractions. Beautiful wide beaches, a peaceful nature reserve and roaming wild horses are just a few of this magical stretch’s interestingly paired attributes. Historic “Wash Woods” US Coast Guard Station 166, circa 1878, always serves as a fascinating landmark along the trek to North Swan Beach. Because of this fairly removed setting, North Swan Beach vacation homes are the perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends.

Twiddy offers an array of vacation home options in North Swan Beach. Large to small, grand to quaint and everywhere in between, we have the retreat that is perfectly outfitted to suit your crew. So, let the 4x4 adventure begin!
