Get ready to fly into an amazing OBX vacation at “Stars and Stripes!” Located on the oceanfront in a section of Pine Island that has a single row of homes, this home has unobstructed views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound. Gorgeous sunrises and stunning sunsets are on your vacation agenda during your stay.
The main living space in the home is located on the top floor, which features floor to ceiling windows in the great room, allowing the beautiful ocean view to fill the room. Kick back and relax with family and friends in the living area, which includes a TV as well as a gas fireplace available for use during chilly months of the year. Prepare meals for the duration of your stay in the fully equipped kitchen, which includes extras such as oversized refrigerator, and two dishwashers. There is also an elevator to assist with getting groceries to the third floor. Enjoy meals together in the dining area nearby. A separate area with a table and chairs serves as a breakfast nook, or could be the perfect place to work on a puzzle throughout the week. Up a few steps from the great room is a ship's watch with a desk and amazing sound views. Make your morning coffee and head out onto the spacious oceanfront deck to watch a famous Outer Banks sunrise over the ocean. The master bedroom on the top level features a private bathroom with a whirlpool tub and a gas fireplace, as well as access to a private deck. A half bathroom completes the third floor of the home.
The middle level of the home consists of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as laundry facilities. There are four master bedrooms, each with a private full bathroom and deck access. One of the bathrooms includes a whirlpool tub. There are two additional master bedrooms on the ground floor, each with a private full bathroom. Many hours of fun are to be had in the rec room, which features a large TV with reclining sofa to watch your favorite movie or sports game, with a refrigerator so cold drinks are always nearby. An additional laundry room can also be found on the bottom level. A full cabana bathroom connects to the pool area as well as inside the home.
Step outside for some fun in the sun. Play all day in the refreshing private pool or simply bask in the sunshine poolside. From the pool area, use the private beach walkway over the dune to get your toes in the sand. After the sun dips for the evening, head out to the hot tub and enjoy a restorative soak while gazing at the stars in the dark night sky. A stay at “Stars and Stripes” on the Outer Banks will leave you relaxed and refreshed!
