Welcome to “Slow Down Summer,” your oceanfront retreat on the Outer Banks! Enjoy a swim in the optionally heated pool, relax with your friends in the hot tub, or take sunrise walks on the beach while vacationing in this beautiful seven bedroom home. “Slow Down Summer” is located directly on the oceanfront in the most northern community in Corolla. Walk or bike to grab a bite to eat, do some shopping, or better yet take a walk with your family and friends to find the Corolla wild horses! In addition to the fabulous location, this comfortable home features three levels of living space and many amenities, inside and out, that will leave you saying, “Slow Down Summer!”
The home’s main living space is located on the third floor. The great room is bright and open, allowing the panoramic ocean view to fill the room. Relax and catch up with loved ones in the comfortable living area, with a gas fireplace available for use during the cooler months of the year. An additional sitting area in the great room offers a space to curl up with a good book or search for dolphins frolicking in the waves. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that you need to prepare meals for the duration of your stay. The dining area boasts a custom 14-person table and is situated so you can enjoy the gorgeous ocean view during meals. Step outside with your morning coffee to see a beautiful Outer Banks sunrise over the ocean or watch your family enjoying their time in the pool. On the third floor, you’ll also find a half bathroom, as well as a master bedroom, which includes a private bathroom, that faces west so you may enjoy evening sunsets.
Four additional bedrooms are available on the second floor of the home. Two are spacious master bedrooms, which include private bathrooms with whirlpool tubs, and access to the oceanside deck. The two additional bedrooms on the middle level share a full bathroom.
On the ground level you’ll find two more bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a large game room with a pool table and a kitchenette with a wet bar. From the rec room, step outside to enter the large resort-style pool deck complete with a cabana that houses a tiki bar, an outdoor TV, six-person polywood dining table, bar swings, a refrigerator, and more. The spacious lounge area provides additional seating, barbeque grill, a pool basketball set, and a cornhole set. There is also a master bedroom with its own private and separate entrance from the main home. The bathroom offers spa-like features with a walk-in shower.
The beach is accessible via your own private beach walkway, complete with a dune deck that provides yet another relaxing area to take in the view of the Atlantic Ocean. With ample parking, this home is a comfortable and spacious beach getaway.
Located in the Villages at Ocean Hill, you're just down the street from the 4x4 beaches where the Corolla wild horses roam, Historic Corolla Village and Shops, and even the Currituck Lighthouse! Also, enjoy the premier Villages at Ocean Hill community amenities including oceanfront and lakefront community pools, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, a year-round fitness center, and more (fee required for some of the community amenities).
