Frequently Asked Questions
No, you are not required to be present for the delivery or pick up of the cart, but ZoomAround requires your rental agreement to be signed before delivery. Once signed, ZoomAround will deliver the cart to the designated address with the key. You may pick up and return your cart for FREE at the ZoomAround office location (1171 Duck Road Unit B-3, Duck, NC 27949). Availability for in-store pickup and return may vary depending on location. ZoomAround will charge a $50 convenience fee on all deliveries and pick-ups in Corolla, and a $75 convenience fee for all other areas.

North Carolina requires all street legal golf carts (Low Speed Vehicles) to be battery powered. A street legal cart (LSV) must have all of the following specifications:
- A minimum speed of 20 mph and maximum of 25 mph
- NC registration
- Insurance coverage
- Features turn signals, headlights, taillights, horn, seat belts, DOT windshield, reflectors, side mirrors and slow-moving vehicle sign.
ZoomAround's carts are street legal and are legally bound to a speed between 20-25 mph. ZoomAround's 6-passenger Executive and Standard models will go between 30-40 miles on a full charge, and the 4-passenger Executive models will go between 35-45 miles on a full charge.
When renting a cart, insurance coverage is already included within the price of the rental. ZoomAround also offers a PPW (Personal Protection Waiver) for an additional fee of $12.95 per day.

ZoomAround recommends that all passengers always wear their seatbelts. All passengers in the front row are required to wear seat belts by state law, in addition to those in the back row under the age of 16.

Please call no less than 24 hours in advance to inquire about rental extensions. Rental extensions are not guaranteed. All late rentals will be subject to fee and/or additional day fee based off ZoomAround's current rental rate.
All tickets must be reported to ZoomAround immediately. All parking tickets must be reported within 24 hours.
As much as ZoomAround loves four-legged friends, pets are not allowed in or on the LSV's.
