Go “Du South” and enjoy an amazing time with your family and friends! This beautiful nine-bedroom home on the 4x4 beaches is semi-oceanfront, just one lot back from the beach, offering stunning views of the ocean. Wake up to wild horses roaming the area, and end your day watching the sunset from the upper deck.
The top level of the home features an open floor plan, allowing you to spend time with loved ones whether you’re relaxing in the living area or preparing a meal in the kitchen. The living area has an electric fireplace, perfect for warming up in the morning during cooler months. Prepare meals in the spacious gourmet kitchen, which is fully stocked with all equipment needed to make all meals during your stay. Enjoy meals together in the nearby dining area. There are two master bedrooms on the third floor of the home, each with a private bathroom. A half bathroom can also be found on the top floor.
Four additional master bedrooms are on the second floor, and two master bedrooms are on the ground floor, each with a private bathroom. The remaining bedroom on the first level has a semi-private bathroom. Enjoy a friendly billiards competition in the rec room on the ground floor. Screen the latest movies in your own private theatre. Spend your days outside in the sunshine, boogie boarding through the ocean waves, surf fishing from the beach, or taking a dip in the private pool. Once the sun sets for the evening, make s’mores by the outdoor gas fire pit before soaking in the hot tub while gazing at the stars in the dark night sky. Cruise “Du South” down the beach and into town to enjoy the shops and restaurants in Corolla or Duck. There’s something for everyone at this gorgeous semi-oceanfront retreat!

"DuSouth is a beautiful home! The home is stocked with everything we needed even a big pot for our seafood boil. The grandkids really enjoyed the bottom floor media room, bunk beds, pool table and having their own fridge and microwave to make their popcorn. The home is CLEAN!!! There is ample space for large families (22 of us!) The beds are comfortable and clean. We loved all the windows in the living room to watch the sunrise in the morning while we sipped our coffee. We all enjoyed the pool-good size for playing volleyball-and the hot tub was a hit! Having two dishwashers really helped us to keep the kitchen spotless the whole week. We loved how all the drawers and cabinets were labeled so we knew where to return items and keep it all organized. The big table and bar counter in the kitchen made it easy for our large family to eat all meals together. The beach access was close and easy. It is a short walk or drive. We drove a couple of the trucks to the beach to haul the chairs and beach umbrellas but it's a close enough walk that the kids could walk back to the house to use the restroom or grab a snack or just go back and swim in the pool or sit in the hot tub. The beach was clean and not too busy so we had a good spot every day. Saw lots of dolphins playing and lots of horses-even had a horse in our back yard grazing on the grass. The only draw back is the distance from town to the house if you want to do a lot of shopping or site seeing or get ice cream etc it takes time to get to and from. Overall we really enjoyed our week and feel that the owner thought of everything you would need!"
