"This was our second time staying in the house. We love the location far down the beach so traffic is minimal. The house is nicely equipped with everything you need for a relaxing, enjoyable vacation. You get a lovely view of the ocean even though it is semi-oceanfront! The public path over the dunes is right next to the home for easy beach access. We love the hot tub being on the third floor next to the common living area. We even love that the bedrooms don't have TVs. It encourages more social interaction. We would stay here for a third time!"

"Beautiful house, beds were comfortable but very bouncy. Kitchen was very well stocked with plates, cups, pots and pans. The downstairs refrigerator you need to push hard to keep it closed. The only thing we missed was a tv in the bed room. I like to sleep with a tv on. Otherwise the place was great. Thank you for sharing your home."

"We were overall pleased with the house could not have ask for a better view of location. All the amenities the house offered met every need we had. My only complaint is the back yard as the house is pet friendly and the back yard where I could take my dog was slightly overgrown. Beyond that I would have no problem staying at this house again next year."
"We absolutely loved the place and we are so happy we got to share our love for the 4x4 with our family visiting all the way from Texas. The home was warm and inviting and felt full of love and good times. Our favorite things were the privacy, the hot tub on the top deck, the views, and stargazing (big thanks to perseid meteor shower) and the wild horse family that stopped by to graze and nap in the back yard!"

"Loved this home. Even though it wasn’t oceanfront i was able to sleep with the slider open at night and hear the ocean! Not a far walk to the beach we saw the horses and driving to your house on a beach is a must do!!! Was the coolest experience! This house is all the way down the beach on the VA border it is 3 houses away from the horse sanctuary. Hot tub was great you can relax and enjoy the view of the ocean. Loved the rocking chairs on the upper deck also. The master bed was so comfy as were the pillows supplied. The only bummer was there was no salt, pepper or basic spices. And no dishwasher soap or a sponge for the kitchen. I have never rented a house that didn’t have those things so we had to trek out to the supermarket to buy them which is a bit a drive so pack accordingly. We love that we could bring our dogs they were in heaven playing on the beach everyday and relaxing in the deck. Overall it was the perfect vacation for Covid plenty of space to spread out and not a lot of people around."

My family and I have rented many oceanfront homes over the last 30 years, this was our first semi. We keep looking for quiet escapes, and found it! Short walk to Va beach and False Cape Park.
