"So many things about Sunny Delight beach home is awesome. The short walk to the beach for a sunrise stroll and a daily trip to our “favorite” bakery: Northern Lights for a fresh baked treat and coffee. The home met our needs with its very well stocked kitchen, a separate beverage refrigerator and ice maker. Plenty of bedrooms and baths for each of us to have our own room and bath. Close proximity to shops and the Corolla Lighthouse and Village and a short drive to the Butcher Block for meat and seafood or either grocery store. The Corolla Light community is well kept and the employees and residents are very friendly. We have been visiting the OBX for many years and stayed in different areas and different homes throughout the island. Hands down Corolla Light Resort and Sunny Delight is tops on our list."

"This home was great! We love the location (close to the beach) and the Corolla Light community. The house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of rooms and decks for all to enjoy. The bar area and beverage refrigerator were also a hit. We cook most of our meals in and the only thing we were unable to locate was a cheese grater, in other words it was WELL stocked! Looking forward to our next trip! Love the OBX!"

"We had a wonderful time in K802 Sunny Delight, the home an easy walk to and from the ocean side pools and beach, in fact right outside the back door! Thanks for the use of beach chairs and boogie board! Outside showers are warm with line right there to hang towels and wet suits! Loved the new hot tub steps from bedrooms. Kitchen is well appointed no need to bring all your spices, and cooking there is a cook's dream. The grill off the kitchen is wonderful and thanks for the boil pot we forgot ours. The home is very clean, easy walk to the bakery, and other stores. Can't say enough good things about this lovely beach home. Hopefully, we can return again soon!"

Games for children and adults great idea! Plus body boards, and beach chairs. This owner really takes care of their property and it shows in the little touches as well as the big ones! Bathrooms updated and clean, washing machine with deep fill tub. I really could go on and on!"

"We’ve been coming to the OBX for 25 years, and this by far was one of our favorite homes. The owners have made sure that it is a renter’s home away from home and have paid attention to detail. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and organized. There is plenty of comfortable seating in living room so that no one had to sit on the floor. If reading is your passion, there are baskets of books everywhere. Want to sit on the decks and relax? More than enough seating awaits you. And there’s even a drink cooler on the screened in porch that holds all of your extra beverages! Beds are comfy, home is clean and Twiddy is always an accommodating realtor. I’d definitely stay here again."

"It is a beautiful home with a very well stocked kitchen. Three masters that are quite well maintained and have walk in showers. The hot tub is nicely placed off the second floor right outside two of the master bedrooms. The beds are really comfortable, as are the sheets. Love not carrying to the beach sheets and towels. The living area is very comfortable with 3 reclining chairs two full couches. Game room is fun, loved having a drink refrigerator right there and another on the walk out screened porch. The outside showers are large and clean. A must for after beach time. Also like the bench by the outside door. All porches have plenty of setting areas but we did fight over the one hammock. Loved the fact that games, puzzles, and cards are available as are movies. The book baskets are a clever idea as well. Can't say enough about this home! Sunny Delight is a delight!"

"We had a wonderful week at Sunny Delight! The location is right on the edge of all of the activity in the Corolla Light Activity area and I wasn't sure we would like that but it turned out to be really fun. It's a very easy walk to the beach, pickle ball, tennis and small shopping area. The house is well maintained and was perfect for our needs. One of our favorite morning activities was riding our bikes about three miles up to the wilderness preserve and walking along the beach. One of the mornings we saw about 12 horses. We highly recommend Sunny Delight."
