This gorgeous Outer Banks oceanfront home offers a perfect "Fiesta Seaesta" with family and friends! The home welcomes you with a large concrete basketball court that can accommodate parking for at least nine cars. It has eight spacious bedrooms and a private den, allowing you to host up to 20 people. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, except for one bedroom that shares a full bathroom with the recreation room. The private den is suitable for quiet time or to be used as an office room. This home is located on a private cul-de-sac in Corolla and offers you amazing ocean views, with no neighbors to the north. The home has a lovely, fenced-in pool area. In addition to the relaxing hot tub, this home has a large private pool that offers the option to be heated as well as an extended pool schedule.
Centrally located in Corolla, this home is a short drive (within minutes) from all that Corolla has to offer, highlighting the best shopping, dining, workout, and activities in the area. It is approximately one mile to the Timbuck II Shopping Village, approximately five miles to the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and Historic Corolla Park, and approximately seven miles to the 4×4 area for the opportunity to see the Corolla Wild Horses. The Wright Brothers National Memorial is approximately 23 miles south, and Jockey's Ridge State Park, home to the tallest living sand dune system on the Atlantic coast, is approximately 27 miles south.
Ocean Sands is an enjoyable community to explore; there is no public beach access. You may walk to the community lake for some catch-and-release fishing, play tennis and pickleball at the community tennis courts around the corner, or walk and bike in the community or along NC Route 12. This home is a few feet away from the beach walkway, making the home convenient for lunch and bathroom breaks. The beautiful beach is wide and offers amazing opportunities for fishing, surfing, kite flying, shell seeking, walking, watching pelicans flying along waves, and more.
The top floor was designed for gathering with no houses obstructing the ocean view to the east and north. You may relax in the open living area that features a TV, Bluetooth sound system, plenty of seating, a cozy gas fireplace, and a convenient half bathroom. The sun deck overlooks the ocean and the pool, offering incredible sunrise views. The modern kitchen presents well-equipped facilities, granite countertops, high-quality cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a second mini fridge/cooler, two dishwashers, and two ovens. The dining area has plenty of seating and windows all around, allowing a spectacular ocean view while dining or relaxing. The top floor has two spacious master bedrooms, featuring beautiful bathrooms with custom tile showers, countertops, dual vanities, and one includes a whirlpool tub.
The middle level offers four spacious master bedrooms, a private den, and covered decks with exterior stairs to the gated swimming pool. Enjoy sitting on the decks while watching friends and kids relaxing in the swimming pool and hot tub or playing in the fenced backyard.
The ground floor highlights one spacious recreation room, two bedrooms with four bunk sets, one room for the washer and dryer, and one spacious garage for storing various beach-going items. The recreation room presents a sitting area with a large TV, a pool table, and a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, a dishwasher, high-quality cabinets, and a sink. A four-player Arcade Game machine with approximately 3,000 classic games is next to the recreation room for you to enjoy. A full bathroom is located in the alcove for convenience.

"Loved the whole backyard setup. The top floor view was great as it was two sided and no houses obstructing our view of the sea. Couldn't see the surf because of the dunes but that happens. A few specific suggestions for the owner: One person has a really bad spine condition so we spent a couple of nights trying to find the right bed for them. Not sure how that could be fixed but all the Kings and Queens were very firm which was a problem for this person. The kitchen has a LOT of dishes and glasses. But, there are some missing things. 1. I suggest they go thru the utensil drawer and throw out the rusted/nonfunctioning things. 2. I am a baker and they were missing good mixing bowls of various sizes and glass measuring cups for liquids. 3. The electric mixer is marginal but does work. 4. There were NO decent serving platters. This would be very helpful for guests making meals for lots of people. 5. The cookie sheets were passable but all are very old. Loved all the big pots for doing seafood boils! 6. Recommend you get more plastic glasses that are safer for the pool area. Overall, we really enjoyed the week! Would definitely stay there again!"

"We loved the comfort of the home. Plenty of space, the kitchen was well equipped with dinnerware,pots and pans but I would recommend new spatulas for the fry pans and better can openers. The pool and hot tub were great!"

"The house was clean and very close to the beach. The sand dune blocked some of the ocean view but the short walk to the beach was perfect. The downstairs bunk beds were a little close to the ceiling, so larger children may not want the top bed. The heated pool and hot tub were perfect for our family fun time. We loved the outdoor fridge and putting green by the pool area. The location of the house was super close to two large shopping areas and grocery stores. Twiddy was very responsive and helpful for all our needs. I would rent from them again."
"The view from this home was very limited. Although oceanfront, you couldn't see the ocean very well. People with seniors or the elderly should be aware that the walkway is difficult to navigate. Other than that, the house was fine."
"The home was very nice and everyone enjoyed it. The only suggestion was to make the study/den on the 2dn floor and actual bedroom with a bed instead of the pullout. used as a bed, it was very uncomfortable. It seems unlikely the room would be used as anything but a bedroom."
Thanks for your feedback! We will consider your suggestion. The original intent when furnishing the home was for this space to be flexible including a small office, sitting room, TV room, and extra space for sleeping.. This past year has proven even more important for guests to have multiple places to work during the pandemic. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

"Great location. Beautiful view. The pool is great. But the house is in need of some basic maintenance and ultimately a makeover. The WiFi is unreliable, which may be more a Twiddy issue than the house. When reliable WiFi was needed (which post-COVID is more critical than ever), we tethered our phones' data connections."
Thanks for your feedback. This past spring we switched our WiFi provider to Spectrum and also completed extensive maintenance throughout the property. Hope to host you again in the future so that you can appreciate these changes.
"Fiesta Seaesta was the perfect way to vacation in the OBX . The house is in an optimal location for the beach, grocery store, shops, and 4x4 beach. Walking in the house for the first time definitely gave us a WOW factor. It was bright with natural light, clean, and not an "overdone beach house." It was tasteful, and not cluttered at all. All of the bedrooms are very spacious, including the bathrooms. The game room downstairs was a great hangout area with the pool table, and the pool area was relaxing for adults, and fun for a kid. Having a hot tub and a pool was wonderful. It met everyones needs. The walk to the beach was very short, the house is only one house away from the boardwalk that leads to the beach. Super convenient for bathroom and lunch breaks. We had 12 adults and one child in Fiesta Seaesta and it never felt crowded. The kitchen was spacious and had plenty of room for meal prep as well as plenty of room to seat everyone. Having two dishwashers was also wonderful because let's face it no one wants to do dishes on vacation. If you area prepping a meal that requires sharp knives I would recommend bringing your own. The kitchen supplies are used and abused and many of the knives are very dull. Other than that small thing no major complaints. We had an incredible week in OBX and the location of the house was a huge part of that. We WILL be back! I HIGHLY suggest setting an alarm one day of vacation to trek out to see the incredible sunrise that OBX has to offer. It is unforgettable."
