"Moonraker is an amazing house. We stayed in early April and knew we were taking a risk with the weather. We actually lucked out and got some great beach days in.But that said, if we just had to hand at the house, we would have enjoyed that too. The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room, and amazing views. It was also great having our pup there with us too. It made the vacation so much more special. We would love to try this place in the summer, but unfortunately it's all booked up."

"Loved everything about this stunning home from the layout to the lovely decor and perfect location. The house was immaculate, the kitchen well stocked, inside and outside furniture comfortable, the views from the upper floor amazing. The pool and patio, as well as hot tub were pristine and inviting. The walkway to the beach was nearby, the steps over the dune a bit steep for aging knees but this only made me appreciate the elevator in the house that much more. It was a quick drive to Food Lion and other shops though we opted to spend nearly all our time at this idyllic home and beach."

"This house is located in a great spot where you can see the ocean from the top 2 floors giving you a quick walk to the beach. The lower bedrooms are small but certainly adequate. The master bedroom is a nice size but has a skylight making sleeping past sunrise a little difficult! The master bathroom is also the only bathroom on the main level. The kitchen has most anything you need, however the flatware is really cheap and flimsy. That should be upgraded to match what one would expect for the price. There are 2 large tables in the eating area that can be pushed together also. The living area sectional is a bit dirty. The loft is a nice extra space to get away from the main living area and views of the ocean are great. The pool area is small but cute with a bar to hold food and drinks. The pool itself is small but that made it a bit warmer than a larger pool probably would have been in June and for 3 little girls it was fine. Because it was added later it has no direct access to the house which is great if you have wandering toddlers or kids who are not pool safe. The hot tub is off one of the middle bedrooms and is nicely shaded. The decks are in good condition. Internet cut in and out all week and had to be rebooted daily. We were told by Twiddy that this is common for the area. Fortunately no one had any serious work online! Overall the house is in good condition and I can recommend it."

"Really enjoyed our week at this home. Good layout, lots of space for all of us, plenty of bathrooms, nice pool, very short walk to the beach. As for the walk to the beach, a beach cart or anything with wheels will probably not be useful. You walk up the boardwalk ramp up the dunes, there are about 15 steps to the top. Then there are about 30 steps down the backside of the dunes to the beach. Not a hard walk at all, but glad I saved the room and did not pack our wheeled cart. Super close beach access, so that is great. House had everything we needed and we had a great time!"
