"This is a lovely and well built home. Beautiful views of the ocean and only a short walk to the access boardwalk and stairs. Appliances are relatively new and all in working order, including the gas grill outside. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Outdoor shower is wonderful to wash off sand before going in after a day at the beach. Extremely convenient to grocery stores and Timbuck II shopping. Parking would be an issue if families are coming with more than two vehicles."

"We loved the updates to the house, especially the new cooktop since we enjoy cooking most of our meals. We also enjoyed the beach view and watching the sunrise and moonrise. The new deck furniture was also welcome."

"This is a beautiful house! We loved the close proximity to the beach access (we just had to go out the back and walk about 50 feet to get to the boardwalk) and the fabulous ocean view this house provides even though it is only semi-oceanfront. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and dishes, although there were no small bowls for soup or cereal and no kitchen towels/wash cloths for dishwashing. One of the best things was the dumbwaiter. This was a lifesaver for us when we moved in and when we got groceries. No lugging heavy bags up the stairs! Thank you to the owners for that feature! The location of this home is very convenient as it is close to the Food Lion, Harris Teeter, and Tim Buk II. We loved our stay here and already booked for next year."

"Location was great, semi-oceanfront with views from living area and outside patio. Beach access was right from the yard. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed, plenty of plates, pots/pans, storage. A very nice Harris Teeter was less than 2 miles away."

"Our group really enjoyed our week at Somewhere in Time I. The home is lovely with incredible ocean views and easy access to the beach. Sitting on the deck watching the sunrise was one of our favorite things. There are lots of great nooks for sitting and relaxing throughout the house. Only suggestions for improvement would be some new deck chairs (the old ones are starting to fall apart) and a better stove and some new pans. We had some trouble with the stove and since we ate in every night, that was more of an issue that it sounds. We have already booked the house for next year, so obviously these are minor issues!"

"Very comfy. Great views from the deck and easy access to the beach. One of the showers had a clogged drain but requesting a repair was no problem. Balcony off of the upstairs master was not accessible, which was disappointing. Overall, a fantastic house and rental experience."

"Overall, it was a nice and spacious home with a good location. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom layout was great. My kids enjoyed the ping pong table and the grown ups enjoyed the views from the top deck. Some things to know/or that could be improved: There were no instructions from the owners about using the TV system, which was complicated. The internet was awful (or was it the TV's internet connection??) The beaches in Ocean Sands are just really crowded, so beware. Also, there were some unusual issues with the ground floor - no place to hang sandy beach towels outside, and no way to get to the decks from other levels (so you have to carry sandy towels through the inside to find a deck railing to hang towels from)."

"This home is in a great location. The views from the family room, kitchen and deck are fantastic. As another recent review has stated, the outdoor furniture needs attention. Most is still not in a useable condition unfortunately. We ran into no issues with the WiFi. At times we were streaming a movie and 2-3 of us in the group were online and working remotely with no issues at all. The hot tub was in top working order and we experienced no issues with it. Kitchen equipment was about as expected for a rental home. We always make sure to bring certain items with us so we are sure to have them. The Ping-Pong paddles on property were in poor condition. We did pick up a few at Wal Mart and donated them to the cause when we left. We would for sure rent this house again if our group size allowed for it as it did this year. Would have left a 5 star review had the outdoor furniture been addressed from Sharon back on 4/11/2021."

"Our family enjoyed this home for many different reasons but being close to the beach was #1. I loved the fact I could sit on the deck & take pics of the sunrises. the only critique I have is the WIFI is very slow & a few times it was needed for a work moment & the stove must be on high to cook anything but that only delayed dinner a few minutes. I wish it had another fridge but that's something I prefer. When we are together we each have a kitchen day to show off our culinary skills & the kitchen was well stocked.
