Vacation in true luxury here at “Compass Rose.” Located in the Pine Island neighborhood, this oceanside home is a short walk to the beach. Enjoy the views of Corolla from the back decks with enough seating for the entire family. Take a dip in the home’s private swimming pool or take a break and sit at the poolside cabana with a refreshing beverage. In the evenings, relax in the hot tub and enjoy the ocean breeze. Guests can also take advantage of the Pine Island community pool and tennis court.
"Compass Rose" features a spacious, well-equipped kitchen perfect for preparing elaborate meals for everyone. The dining area includes a roomy dining table, along with a bar offering additional seating. The loft area provides even more seating options. Guests can use the elevator in the home to help take their bags to the rooms on all floor levels.
There are two living areas, so everyone can spread out and watch TV or movies, play games, or on the first level, enjoy the pool table.
When it is time to rest, the bedrooms have just what you will need to have a good night's sleep. With nine master bedrooms, everyone will have their own space to relax. Six of the master bedrooms have King beds, one offers two Queen beds, and two offer a Duo/Bunk Set combo each.
Designed with the guests in mind, “Compass Rose,” is meant to give you and your family a wonderful vacation experience.

"We have really enjoyed another beautiful two weeks at our favorite beach house in the Outer Banks. We really appreciate the care given to this old place since we were there last year, the new bedding, the new decor, and the new decking. (no more nailheads or splinters!) we especially appreciate the prompt response from Twiddy on any thing that needed addressed, though, Like the broken icemaker and water in the refrigerator, and a broken chair. The gift basket was highly appreciated, too! We love the Compass Rose!"

"We have loved staying at Compass Rose for the last 10 years. It was again, a beautiful two week stay, with 21 of our family there at various times. We really enjoyed the addition of the Pac-Man game. We also appreciate the newly tiled floors and new dishwashers. The only thing lacking was enough good bedding. Many of the mattresses are soft and uncomfortable to use. The maintenance crew was outstanding by repairing a previously reported leak and newly reported electrical issue SO promptly. We REALLY enjoyed the gift baskets from the owners too. A lovely gesture, long forgotten. (Plenty of silverware to work with too, since there were so many of us.)"

Thanks for the feedback Sylvania. We're new owners as of July 2020 and giving the house some TLC in the offseason (e.g. replacing all carpet with new flooring, bathroom / kitchen updates, and improving electronics). Glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you'll consider Compass Rose in the future.
