"House was great all I expected. The grill was a little finakey but okay."

"We enjoyed our 2 weeks at Holiday House. The home was very nice, well-maintained, and well-appointed. Location was perfect and the beach was as sparsely populated as we'd thought it would with such low density of homes in Pine Island. Walking down from the top of the dune and back up the dune when returning from the beach was a bit of a struggle for older folks or those with problematic lower joints. We understand that beach access can always change, so it wasn't a surprise - just a bit of a challenge for some of us. There were some problems with the refrigerator and hot tub, but those were resolved or we had work-arounds to deal with each. Overall, Holiday House made for some great family memories and a wonderful beach vacation experience."

"The home owners welcomed us with a welcome bag, nice touch. Most importantly the home provided us with multiple forms of entertainment from pool table, shuffle board, foos ball, ping pong, etc. the home was a great location with beautiful views and very well equipped kitchen."

"Very well equipped home, especially the kitchen. Very spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom even when not a master bedroom (NO shared full bathrooms, plus has a half bath extra on the top and bottom floors). Huge space on the upper level for multiple activities and family subgroupings at the same time. Unbelievable amount of seating all over the house and out on the decks. Amazing views from both front and back of house; the back of the house gives you oceanfront sunrises, and the front the soundfront sunsets. Really great home. We hope to be able to come again in warmer weather sometime, but this home is a great option for off-season when the best part of going to the beach is to see the water from indoors!"

"The house was perfect for our large family! Holiday house was clean and all the beds were comfortable as well as the furniture. The pool and outdoor speakers were a huge plus. We also enjoyed the Cabana service each day so we never had to set up our own chairs or umbrellas. The downstairs ice maker was great to have but didn’t always work properly. We loved all the decks and extra space inside as well as two fridges, three ovens, two dishwashers and extra sinks in the kitchen. The Viking range was also great to have! The pool and proximity to the beach was incredible. The kids loved the chessboard on the pool deck and corn hole and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Overall a superior home! Thank you for the gift bag with wine and snacks and custom coozies with cooler. It was a wonderful stay!"

"We liked having the views of the ocean and the bay. Lots of chairs on the decks to accommodate all. The house accommodated us all perfectly with bedrooms/bathrooms. Lots of games, puzzles, books already there. Really Liked having the cabinets labelled so easier to find everything."

"Superior rental. I came in April with my husband, kids and sisters. The house is beautiful in the pictures, but truly is even better in person - the comforters have all been updated and the carpet has been updated to luxury plank floors in the bedrooms and great room. Everything was very clean when we arrived. The house is well-appointed generally and the kitchen is especially well-stocked, but it is not at all cluttered. I loved that there were several spaces to gather as a group as well as several nooks to relax in aside from the bedrooms (though the bedrooms were comfortable as well!). It is a great house for large extended families or multiple families as it has several bedrooms with ensuites. You can create the perfect vacation! There’s so much to do in Corolla and nearby towns, like Duck. But the house is comfortable enough you could happily spend a week there without venturing out at all. I also recommend planning ahead a bit and considering having one of the massage therapists come and do in-home massages for your entire family (indoors or outdoors), doing beach pics (right outside the back door!) or having an in-home chef come by and make you dinner one night. Gorgeous views and lots of great spaces to hang outside on all 3 levels outdoors! The management company is responsive, polite and easy to deal with! Private pool, hot tub, direct beach access, tons of great small touches for comfort (like 2 washers/dryers, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, large stove, swing on one of the decks, a hammock, books, games, foosball, shuffleboard), I could go on and on. I can recommend this house without reservation. We have already booked our stay for next Spring!"

"The house is absolutely beautiful. It is beautifully furnished, impeccably clean, and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Every room is very comfortable. We had a most relaxing and enjoyable vacation staying in this home..and the upper deck and ocean views were phenomenal. We would love to stay in this exceptional house again! The only suggestion is that it would be helpful to have more hooks in the master bathroom to hang clothing. Again, this was a great house for a vacation!"

"The home was BEAUTIFUL!!! We have stayed in OBX at least 1-2 times per year for 10+ years and this home was hands down my favorite. Sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening! Home décor was lovely and well thought through. My absolute favorite though: the SWING!!! I will never understand why all rental homes don't have a swing, but this was the first and it was AMAZING! Hoping to return!"
