"House was very clean; kitchen was well-stocked; library room was a big plus. The carpets were cleaned prior to our arrival, and while it delayed check-in a bit, it was worth the wait. Two propane tanks was a thoughtful addition."

"Love the proximity to the beach, which is rarely crowded. We would set up a tent in the morning and then with the private boardwalk, family members could easily go between beach and house throughout the day. Pool is a great size and there is lots of seating/lounging space around pool. Top level of the house has fantastic views of the ocean. Lots of deck space. Kitchen is well supplied."

"Sea Spray I is a great house for a family reunion. We had 15 people, with ages ranging from 8 to 80. There was plenty of room for everyone, whether gathering during meals or when someone needs their own alone time. There were a few maintenance needs during the week, but with the texting feature with Twiddy responses were quick and the issues were resolved very fast."

"We had 4 generations at Sea Spray 1. We ALL enjoyed ourselves in the comfort of the “big house” according to our 4 year old grandson. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable, and has a well-stock kitchen. Twiddy was responsive with a bathroom issue and fixed it within an hour. Thanks for making lifelong memories! We will definitely be back!"

"The home was cozy, the boardwalk straight from the home to the beach was convenient. TVs everywhere and the double overns and double dishwashers made cooking super easy."

"The entire family loved this house. It was clean and spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Loved the second den area. It was perfect for the kids and their video games. Separate from the adults but within view. Loved that the kids room was not on the bottom level (main reason for renting this house in particular). The master bedrooms were spacious. However, the bed in the master bedroom on the middle floor needs an upgrade. Even with the added padding it was very hard and the frame was crooked leaving the mattress at an angle with the head slightly lower that the feet. Amazing ocean view. Hot tub was super clean and spacious. Would definitely rent again. Looking forward to next year."

Multiple areas for reading/ tv/ puzzles Big kitchen 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators Loved the walkway over dunes … perfect sitting area for sunset plenty of room for 7 grands (ages 5-14) and 8 adults We had 2 issues … broken leg on chair and ice build up on bottom of freezer. We called on Monday and within the hour a man arrived at the house to address our concerns"

"Loved the extra family spaces on the top floor. Loft offered game/puzzle area & the large sitting area off the master bedroom was a great playroom for all the children. We could all be together but doing our own activities."

"Our family greatly enjoyed our week at Sea Spray I. The home's thoughtful design meant there were plenty of areas for people to gather, and also areas to spend time relaxing with a book. Thank you for the selection of adult and children's books in the library. And the view of the ocean through all those windows was stunning! The kitchen was very well equipped, with only one small issue: the refrigerator was missing one of the in-door shelves, and one of the vegetable drawers was misaligned and difficult to pull out. Aside from that, there were lots of pots and pans, many small appliances, and plenty of serving trays. The pool seemed huge, and the beach chairs that came with the house were pretty new and in great shape. This was the nicest house we've ever rented, in 40 years of coming to the OBX."

"Loved the ease of access to the beach and fun outdoor space. Appreciate the 2 laundry rooms, which help with a larger crowd. Multiple sitting areas and large dining table made it easy to socialize or have some separate space when needed. Large kitchen island made serving meals a breeze."

"This home was the best equipped home I have ever stay in. The little touches like a magnifying mirror in the dressing area and the children’s library❤️❤️❤️ If the need something for the kitchen…it is there! The beds were so comfortable and everything was so clean! Definitely a 💯 winner!"

"The house was perfect and beautiful. It was clean and the furniture was beautiful. There is a beautiful view of the ocean from the top floor that has large windows. The pool and hot tub were great. We had a wonderful time and being on the ocean was definitely a plus."

"House was great....we were there for two weeks....one of the best laid out houses we have ever stayed in at Pine Island/OBX...... bonus room/library was unique and a great place to find quiet. Pool service guys were absolutely terrific....came and did their work while we were still poolside a few times....but did a quick and a great job. When we first arrived we did not know about the garage/ping pong room, but when we did discover it the room was full of dead "may flies".....stuck to the ceiling, the walls, the ping pong table, etc.....we decided to clean it up ourselves .....so with a broom and a vacuum cleaner we got the room into useable shape....and we definitely made use of this area. Only small issue we had was that the garbage disposal in the kitchen sink did not work.....we called it in twice but there was never an attempt to service or fix as far as we know.....so we just worked around that issue. Rail post at the very bottom of the stairway down to the beach is broken on the bottom (and looks like it has been that way for awhile)....it needs to be repaired or replaced."

"Nice house, great views, comfortable beds. Kitchen appliances need update and repairs. Fireplace did not work so for fall and winter rental this is a draw back."

"This review is not only for the beautiful home, but also graciousness of the home owner and the customer service of Twiddy during this time of uncertainty due to the COVID19 crisis, both were very accommodating and ensuring, during the re-opening process. We've been vacationing here in the OBX for nearly 20 years and we always have a great time, no matter what the weather brings. Sea Spray ranks among the favorites of the many homes that we have stayed in. The upstairs MBR and shower were simply amazing. Some of us had to work because of COVID19 and the upstairs Study made a great work area. The huge dunetop deck was great for early morning coffee and watching the sunrise. Even with Tropical storm Arthur to the east, we had a great time."
