"This was our fourth year at the Summerhouse and once again it was heaven on earth – the house is clearly given much TLC and the constant updates every summer give it such a feeling of warmth and an invitation to do whatever one wants to do : cook up something with the wide assortment of kitchenware, read a book from the wide array of offerings in the office/library, play your favorite CDs on the home sound system, watch movies or play games from a wide assortment to choose from or simply float in the large pool or daydream on the spacious decks while taking in the ocean views - we will be back for Year 5 !"
It is a pleasure to open our house to people like you and your family who enjoy our beach house! During off season, we spend a few weeks in our house and look for things that need repair or things we think guests would enjoy. "Location great with Ocean views and just minutes from beach. I have rented other houses in Outer Banks, mainly Corrolla Light, and this is by far the nicest. House is well stocked, ice maker, was a plus. Pine Island community is great."

"Beautiful home! Wonderful and relaxing vacation. Very close to the beach. We would love to stay there again! Enjoyed everything about house especially the library and the beautiful art work! The MK bedroom was perfect and comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Perfect location!"

"This was our third year at the beautiful and comfortable summer house-I have already booked it for next summer too! I invite my extended family and it has become our summer home for one glorious week-the owners give this house great TLC in so many ways - the library has a wonderful collection of books in many genres-they have considered all age groups. With the games, music CDs and furniture/bedroom accommodations - The kitchen is fully stocked with everything anyone would need or want and it’s also completely labeled so it is very easy to find utensils! The best part however is the beautiful view of the ocean, a panoramic view from the high ceilinged great room and the crows nest living area above that - Top that all off with a very quick walk to the beach shore and you have the ultimate!!"
Thanks. We stock the house as if were staying there ourselves. We like to be able to cook with good quality utensils and assume the same for our guests. We hope you are enjoying the recent addition of the pool cabana area.
"We loved staying at the Summerhouse! The rooms were laid out nicely, everything was labeled and so easy to find, and the views were great! The road was quiet and it was a very quick walk to the beach access. We would stay here again on a future trip."
