Gather your family to make memories at “Even the Waves” in Corolla! Nestled among the trees in the gated community of Spindrift, this home provides the perfect combination of comfort, amenities, and convenience. Dogs are welcome too, as this home is pet friendly.
The great room on the home’s third floor is spacious, with plenty of space for your entire family to gather. Relax and watch TV in the living area, or step outside onto the deck to enjoy the sunshine. The kitchen is stocked with all the equipment needed to prepare meals throughout your stay, simply add your groceries. There are two dining areas to choose from, one right by the kitchen and the other up a few steps in the ship’s watch. Barstool seating is also available at the kitchen counter. In the master bedroom, you’ll find a private bathroom with a soaking tub and access to the deck. A half bathroom completes the top level of the home.
On the middle level, there are two additional master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and access to the deck. There is a soaking tub in one of the master bathrooms. Two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom are also available on the second floor. The sitting area on the second floor can serve as an additional living area and offers access to the
rear deck and pool area Laundry facilities are also included on the middle level.
The final bedroom is located on the ground floor of the home and includes a semi-private bathroom that also opens to the rec room. Many evenings of fun are to be had around the pool table in the rec room. The nearby wet bar with a refrigerator ensures that snacks and cold drinks are always available.
Step outside for some fun in the sun! The pool area backs up to a natural, undeveloped area, which offers additional privacy. Make a splash in the refreshing private pool, or head over to the hot tub for a relaxing soak. When you’re ready to get your toes in the sand, take a short stroll down the street to the community beach walkway. An Outer Banks vacation at “Even the Waves” will leave you relaxed and sunkissed!

Our only issue with the house was the location of the bunk room for our little kids being on the bottom floor of the house - which wasn’t ideal. If possible, it would make sense to move the bunk room to the middle floor and either the single king bed to the basement; which would make a 4th master as it would have its own bathroom."
"The location of this home was great! The gated community ensured more privacy and the beach was not crowded at all. We were able to walk to a few restaurants, coffee shop and a candy store. "We had a nice relaxing week in this house. I would say there were a few things that could have made our experience 5 star: 1) the front door and the lock on the front door were very sticky. 2) the kitchen was very well equipped, but could use a few more pans for cooking. We could only find 3. 3) The pool is huge, but after the hurricane, it could have used a cleaning. We skimmed the surface and cleaned out the filter, but there was still a lot of stuff on the bottom of the pool. The house is huge and the beds were very comfortable! Everyone had space to spread out!"
"Frankie's Port was a lovely getaway. The home was well laid out and comfortable; the pool and hot tub were divine; and both the owners and Twiddy were great at quickly responding to and addressing minor issues. Spindrift is a quaint community with easy beach access, and we rented a golf cart, which made it even more fun for the kids!"
