"The home was perfect for what we needed. The rooms were all great for our large family with 4 kids ranging from 6 months - 3 years. We loved the close proximity to the beach, the pool, as well as the many balcony’s with hammocks, rocking chairs, and swings. The house felt clean and had most of what we needed to prepare meals and live comfortably for a week. There were many, many beach chairs which would have been nice to know beforehand. We were told there would be 5, so we ended up using a beach rental service so we didn’t have to worry about not having enough and also not having to lug them to and from the beach. I wish the houses came with baby gates, being that these are very family friendly houses it’s likely there will be small children and being a 3 story house, there are many stairs and we ended up having to buy baby gates at Walmart to use. The only other negative would be that we felt the cost of the house was kind of high compared to the house our family members rented next door. The house next door “All Decked Out” was similarly priced and felt much nicer."

"Bach by the Sea was a great house for our family for our yearly week's stay in the Outer Banks. The house was clean, comfortable and very kid friendly. We loved the pool area and outdoor shower to clean off sand. Perhaps the best part was the beach - not crowded at all and it was an easy 2 min walk. Great place and Twiddy is always great to work with!"

"The house was great, we have no complaints about the overall condition. Proximity to the beach was terrific, you're about 20 steps away from a beach access. The beaches feel a bit less crowded because you are about 50 yards away from the 4WD beach access area. We had a hard time navigating the TV sometimes, but didn't really affect our overall enjoyment."

"Bach by the Sea was a delight for a getaway during the current climate created by COVID-19. The property is semi-oceanfront as it is situated 1 house behind the oceanfront properties. You get a decent view of the ocean from the upper deck on either side of the house in front of you. The walk to the beach was super easy as there is a beach access located just 20 steps from the front of the house. The dead end street also meant that we had less people on the beach than further down in the more populated areas. The property itself was clean and somewhat spacious if you include the outdoor space. Each level has several decks for lounging and some that were located off of bedrooms. My only complaints are that the down stairs bunk room doesn't have a tv, there are tvs located in every other bedroom and the living spaces. The downstairs living space doesn't have any recreational activity such as a pool table or foosball etc. Lastly, the dishwasher had issues, it worked the first day but after that unfortunately it didn't work and for a family of 8 that was disappointing. The Twiddy team did respond quickly initially to the dishwasher issue but they weren't able resolve the issue. An appliance company had to be called in and they didn't come until the last full day that we were there. There were ample beach, pool chairs and a game of cornhole at the property. Overall the property was nice and had room for our family of 8 but I think we will go a bit larger next time."
"Bach by the Sea was a very nice home. It had the right amenities for the large party that stayed. The layout was wide and open which made for a very comfortable fit. The only thing that was a little upsetting to some was there was weeds all around the side walkway to the outside shower. The microwave above the stove also did not work. However, there was a second microwave on the counter. It would have been nice if the pool got cleaned in the middle of the week too because by Wednesday the water was very cloudy and there was a scum around the pool. I did text Twiddy Realty and they placed a work order and within the next day someone came out and fixed the problem. Overall our experience was very good."
