"The house is not one of those HUGE monstrosities that are taking over the north end of the OBX. It is perfect for 1-2 families OR 3 couples and 4 children. It's VERY close to the beach access. The only down sides of this house if that there are no en suite bathrooms and no outdoor shower. Even so, it has worked perfectly for our family and friends for years. We love it."

"Beach Chalet is a beautiful 3 story home with 4 bedroom and 3 full baths. It had all the amenities my family needed to make our stay great. We loved going on the top deck first thing in the morning and watching dolphins play in the ocean and the breeze felt great. The king size beds are very comfortable and the rooms are big. We used the provided beach chairs when we went to the beach and we used the pool floats when we were in the pool. The views from the second and third floor decks are great and the Adirondack chairs made it very relaxing. The hot tub felt great after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. Overall, this house is the perfect beach house for a family of 10 and its location is near restaurants, shopping, and parks and the Corolla Lighthouse."

"We have stayed at the Beach Chalet for years, and we love it. The house is just one lot away from the public beach access where a life guard is on duty during the season. The house is comfortable and well-suited for a family or group of adults. We noticed that all of the flooring in the house was replaced for this year; a nice upgrade."

"We've always liked this home, but this year we were excited to see the home owner made some nice updates: painted the outside and inside of the home, new flooring throughout the home and a new kitchen table. Great updates, the house looks awesome. I suggest getting a new hot tub though, and putting it by the pool instead of out on front porch. I think being by the pool would be more feasible. Enjoy and love the house! Been coming to it for years!!!"

"We LOVE the Beach Chalet! This is a prime location with easy beach access on Bonito with life guard on site. The house has been recently updated with new flooring and carpet. All the amenities you could need are available on site including puzzles, games, books and menus to local eateries. The house is always immaculate upon arrival and is truly our home away from away."

"2nd year in a row at Beach Chalet and can't wait for the 3rd! The house is perfect for 2 families with kids with plenty of room to spread out and a beautiful pool area. Since our stay last year, the house has been updated with new flooring, paint, and a grill- it looked amazing! Steps from the beach and a little over a mile walk to dunkin, food lion, etc. The only thing I would change is having 2 bedrooms with twin beds vs 3 king rooms and 1 room with twins. We made it work but would have been idea with 4 kids to have 2 twin rooms. Can't wait to come back!"

"Beach Chalet was a wonderful home for our family vacation. The home was clean and spacious. The kitchen had all items we needed. The pool and hot tub were wonderful to have and we used them every day. The home is also extremely close to beach access and we could go back and forth with little kids multiple times a day. We are very grateful we got to stay here and experience an OBX vacation. We highly recommend this home."

"This house was comfortable, well maintained and in a great location. Kitchen had everything to cook our meals plus a gas grill for outdoor cooking. Beach access was across the street from the house, so you could see the waves from the third floor and hear them in the top floor bedroom. Pool area was clean and the only thing missing was an outdoor shower but there was a hose to rinse off sandy feet."

"This is the third season we have rented Beach Chalet. We love the location which is so close to the beach access where there is a life guard on duty. The house has a new gas grill out by the pool which was a nice addition this year. We also enjoy the hot tub on the second floor deck. We plan to return next season!"
