With 10 master bedrooms featuring carefully curated artwork and decorated with beautiful custom linens, 10 full baths and 2 half baths, an elevator, a theatre room, pool table, pool with extended shallow end/lounge area, hot tub, outdoor bar with TV/sound system, outside ping pong and more you will make memories with your family and friends and leave with the one goal of coming back again soon!
Located in the marvelous and highly desirable Whalehead neighborhood and a close walk to restaurant and shops, “Five Suns” is a beautiful oceanfront home featuring upscale amenities for everyone in your group! The top floor features a gorgeous great room with custom made furniture and views of the ocean worthy of a painting, hardwood floors, and a a living area with plenty of space for everyone in the family. Take a seat at the piano and delight everyone with your musical talents. The well-equipped chef's kitchen has everything you will need during your stay, including a "back cook's kitchen"/butler's pantry, a lovely dry bar with ice maker for parties, and a large custom dining room table for your gatherings. The kitchen is appointed with high-end large and small appliances and kitchen tools, and beautiful dinnerware and serving dishes for your entertaining. Finally, the top floor includres two King master bedrooms with stunning views. Bedroom 1 includes a very large walk in shower with oversized rain shower, a soaking tub and a separate toilet area.
The middle level of Five Suns includes six King master bedrooms, a master bedroom with two Double beds for maximum guest flexibility, and a fun master bedroom with one Bunk Set and two Duo bunks for the kids, teens or young families. Our personal favorite, Bedrooms 4 and 5 on Level 2, feature a throw-back to old OBX cottages the owners remember from their youth and "sleeping porches" with built-in hanging beds convertible to couches for lounging on the screened in porch -- The perfect place to spend the afternoon reading a book or taking a nap while listening to the ocean sounds just over the dunes.
The ground level features the home’s state of the art theatre room where you and the family can sit back and relax while watching one of your favorite movies in leather recliners or the comfortable couch or playing video games together on the big screen with surround sound. In the main area, challenge each other to a game of billiards in the home’s rec room, sit down to play an arcade game, or make a snack or a beverage at the kitchenette area, while watching a movie or the game on one of the multiple tvs or do a puzzle or play a game at the game table in the den! Also, for your convenience, Five Suns provides an elevator for guests to use to between the floors or bring in loads of groceries or your luggage.
The outside of Five Suns features a large pool with the popular wetdeck feauture, and is complete with many lounge chairs, and places to relax and read a book. Enjoy the full outside bar with a fridge, icemaker and kegerator, a large TV and sound system - this is a great place for watching the game by the pool, or serving a buffet lunch to your guests. Enjoy ping pong and other games, a large shaded seating and dining area, the gas grill for a fun family cookout. Finally take advantage of your private walkway to the gazebo leading to the beach - a perfect place for morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. Plus, this enchanting home with fabulous and well-thought out amenities are just blocks from the fun TimBuck II shopping center, providing you and your family the perfect OBX vacation! Park your car (and charge your EV) and ride bikes or walk all week, and leave your stress at home while you relax at Five Suns. We have tried to think of it all for you!
Five Suns is part of the Premier Home Services Program. As a result, prior to your arrival, the home will be staged by a dedicated home Ambassador to make sure everything is just right for your arrival. The Ambassador will greet you upon arrival and show the features of the home and answer any questions. The furnishings and decorations are high quality and well done. I loved the well stocked kitchen, the 2 washer and dryers and elevator. The access to the beach was easy and a great gazebo. This is the best house we’ve had on the Outer Banks!"

"The house was fantastic! The layout was great for multiple families with all of the bedrooms having their own bathroom and great room groupings so families could be near each other. The indoor living area was spacious and there were multiple outdoor areas to relax on all levels. The walk to the beach was very short from the private walkway which allowed families with smaller children to easily go between the house, pool and beach."

"It is a Amazing, Beautiful Home close to the Beach with awesome easy access. Except for the Sand on the bottom steps at the time we were there 5-22 to 5-29. We were told by Twiddy that they were not permitted not to remove without a permit, but we were able to squeeze through."

Yes, we have the same experience with the dunes and the steps and are going to try and get a permit to realign the beach staircase this fall!
