"House is beautiful and close to the beach! Pool area is also spacious and nicely layed out. It was 9 of us vacationing together and we all had plenty of room and we all enjoyed having a king size bed. The views from the upper deck of the ocean and Currituck lighthouse were fabulous. The house also had a nice kitchen. Could use a few more big serving bowls/platters. Some wear and tear from other renters but nothing to major. We would definitely rent again!"

"Location -- ideal; quiet; walking distance to the beach; walking distance to stores, lighthouse, etc. House -- plenty of master bedrooms with private bathrooms; elevator was a huge plus for arrival and departure; plenty of beach chairs (@13); great pool, patio and jacuzzi area; Garbage -- appreciated the roll in / roll out service provided for the garbage cans. Recommend everyone dispose of all move out garbage on Friday night so that the new arrivals have available garbage bins before the next pick up."

"This is a spacious home where my family of 14 spent the week of Thanksgiving. The kitchen was very accommodating for preparing dinner. We enjoyed the hot tub, movie room and games. The only negative thing that I can say is that it was difficult to regulate the temperature in the bedrooms. The living room has a lot of glass windows which allows you to see the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and really warms up that side of the house. However, the bedrooms on other side of the house and downstairs area are very chilly at night when it gets down to 40 degrees, even with the heat turned on."
"Really nice Whalehead J2 unit. Recently refreshed interior and exceptional layout with the expanded landing areas between floors providing addition cozy areas. Large well laid out kitchen area with large prep areas plus an island. Kitchen was stocked with enough glasses, dishes, pots, pans and dinnerware to prepare and feed a very large gathering of friends and family."
"Bright, large rooms with media access available in all bedrooms. Large pool with a separate hot tub where you can relax and keep an eye on the kids while they are swimming. Perfect for several families vacationing together with all the kids - children, grandchildren and cousins!"

"This ponytail home has a great layout and fit 4 families very comfortably. However, backyard pool area and what we thought was a lawn play area, was a big disappointment. The yard and pool area looks dated and worn. It could definitely use a make over. It was not as enjoyable to lounge pool side as we had hoped."
