Get ready to be “Sunstruck” by this oceanfront retreat that is designed for beach vacation fun! Situated right on the oceanfront, this home not only offers stunning ocean views but also provides direct access to the beach. And here's the best part - this home is not just pet friendly, it's pet-welcoming! So, your four-legged family member can join your Outer Banks vacation, making it a truly inclusive and memorable experience.
The home’s main gathering place is on the top floor in the great room, which features many ocean-facing windows to allow the gorgeous ocean view to fill the room. Relax with loved ones in the living area, and catch up with one another or watch TV. A gas fireplace is available for use during the cooler months of the year. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare family meals throughout your stay, just add groceries. Two dishwashers are a huge help when cleaning up. Meals can be enjoyed together in the dining area nearby. If additional seating is needed for meals, barstool seating is available at the kitchen counter. There is also a smaller table across the room, which can also be a great place to put a puzzle together throughout your stay. In the early mornings, make your coffee and step outside onto the deck to start your day with a stunning sunrise over the ocean. Back inside, a half bathroom completes the top level of the home.
On the second floor, you’ll discover a haven of tranquility with three master bedrooms, each boasting a private bathroom for your comfort. There's also an additional bedroom with a semi-private bathroom, perfect for larger groups. The den, with its own deck access, offers a cozy retreat for relaxation or additional living space.
Two additional master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, can be found on the ground floor of the home. The home’s final bedroom and full bathroom can also be found on the ground floor. In the rec room, you’ll find a pool table and an additional living area with a TV. The kitchenette features a full-size refrigerator and a microwave and is convenient to the pool area and the rec room.
Outside, make a splash in the private pool or simply soak in the sunshine around the poolside. When you’re ready to get your toes in the sand, easily take a walk down the home’s private walkway to the beach. The walkway features an expansive observation deck with a sitting area, allowing one to observe breathtaking views of the ocean and the beach. When you’re ready to venture out, many shopping, dining, and entertainment options are available within minutes of the home. "Loved the large living area and the view from the upper deck! Especially loved the seating over the dune which I called the crows nest. My family was thrilled with the fact that they were so close to the ocean and could come back to the house easily from the beach if they needed something. The house was well stocked with pots,pans,dishes,etc. So happy that we were able to book the house again for 2025!"

"It has a great amount of space for our family in the upper level with great bedroom options on the second floor. The lower level was great for a family that had kids because it was private and away from the rest of the areas. It's a little hard to play pool once the kids go to bed that way but we were outside most of the time anyways! We loved that our whole group could sit at the kitchen table."

The outside of the house could use some attention, the decking was in rough shape and the grass could have been cut, but overall, we all had a great time in the house."

"We had a great time for 2 weeks at Sunstruck. This view and beach access are just spectacular. And although the house does need bathroom and kitchen maintenance, the main living area has a comfortable layout. we were happy to see the mattresses on the King bedrooms had been replaced. The beds were very comfortable. In addition, a new fridge was a welcome improvement. Overall, we loved being here and enjoyed our 2 weeks immensely."

"While the curb appeal compared to other homes in this upscale neighborhood could use help, the price is right. You still get the exact same million dollar view! Best part of location was also half way in between two public beach access points. Gets VERY crowded to the left and right of you, but not in front of this house. Just set up your spot (or order beach cabana service like we did!) by 10am. The pool area gets sandy right near the gate to go to beach. So be sure to use spray to wash off! The inside was perfect for our family. Only complaint…need more glassware and a trash can for every bedroom. Yes, it would be nice to have a more updated house. But then it would cost more to rent and some of the people in our group would not have been able to afford ocean front. So again, perfect for us!"

"This was our third time staying in Sunstruck. It suits our group very well and we're happy with it overall. We LOVE being right on the ocean with our own private access to the beach. The pool is great on sunny days to enjoy a bit of the ocean breezes. Oh, and the top floor deck is perfect for sharing a late day prosecco with family and friends. While there are always a few things that could be improved, they tend to be minor and we still enjoy coming back here year after year."
