On the top floor, the great room accommodates your entire party with ample seating and a half bath. Kick back in front of the gas fireplace, watch your favorite show on our 75” Smart TV or cheer on your team in the big game. Looking for a little R&R? The adjacent sitting area is perfect for curling up with a good book next to a timeless spiral staircase.
Gourmet Kitchen & Fine Dining
Discover your inner chef in the gourmet kitchen, fully equipped with a state-of-the-art Viking dual stove, two Bosch dishwashers, an ice maker, a Wolf counter oven, a beverage cooler and upgraded cookware. A commercial hood, built-in Sub-Zero refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, Keurig coffee machine and other small appliances complete this chef’s dream kitchen. With ample counterspace and all the utensils, silverware and dinnerware you needed to prepare and serve meals for any gathering.
Share your culinary masterpieces at the kitchen bar, the 16-seat dining table or the additional 4-seat auxiliary table. With an open floor plan and candelabra chandeliers, the dining area exudes an exquisite yet lively ambiance that fosters sharing, laughter and love.

Middle Floor: Sweet Slumber
Drift into sweet slumber on a middle floor that’s dedicated to sleeping quarters with eight master bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Bedrooms include all the thoughtful conveniences you’d expect at home – dressers, nightstands and lamps – and feature nautical décor that brings the beach indoors.
View charming vistas morning and night with direct access from bedrooms to the wraparound deck, which offers a shaded retreat overlooking the pool. The elevator also makes a stop on the middle floor for ease and accessibility – no need to carry luggage up the stairs!
Ground Floor: Your Entertainment Mecca
The ground floor is an indoor recreation center that’s a blast for kids and the young at heart! Take family movie night to an epic new level in the theater room, featuring 16 elevated auditorium seats (four with built-in cupholders), a widescreen TV with Sonos and a brand-new HDMI port for all of our gamers.
Then, showcase your skills in the arcade room that houses ping pong, foosball, air hockey and arcade games such as Super Chexx Bubble Hockey, NBA Gametime, Ice Ball and Arcade Legend, which includes 135 programmed video games for endless amusement.
You’ll also find high-topped bar-style tables and chairs, a half bath, and a kitchenette equipped with a sink, mini-fridge, dishwasher for snacks and cold drinks on hand and for added convenience, a brand-new refrigerator and freezer.
The ground floor rounds out sleeping accommodations with two master bedrooms (for a total of 11), both with private bathrooms.
Exterior Spaces: Relax and Play the OBX Way
Outside, you’ll find an outdoor oasis that everyone in your group will love. Float, splash and play in your private, heated saltwater pool featuring a swim-up bar and a wet deck. The redesigned pool deck enhances the experience with ample space for relaxation. Soak up the sun on poolside chaise loungers and Adirondack chairs.
Or, take your party to the sea and walk directly from the pool area to the beach along your private walkway. When you get back, hose the sand off your feet under the outdoor showers.
Serve a seaside meal with the covered gas grilling station, perfect for burgers, hot dogs, steaks, chicken, vegetables, fish and grilled seafood.
After the sun sets, slip into the hot tub for a restorative soak while you gaze at the stars in the night sky, enjoy the refreshing, salty sea breeze and listen to the waves lap the shore nearby.

We also understand TV service can be tricky, so we’re making the switch to YouTube TV for a more seamless experience. Additionally, we’ll be replacing the grill cover—thank you for bringing that to our attention. Your input means a lot to us. We have an added surprise for our 2025 guests - we are enlarging the pool deck for added pool chair comfort and we replaced all the carpeting in the Level 2 bedrooms with premium plank flooring. "This was our fifth year in having a family vacation in OBX. It was the first time renting the Perfect Storm and our first time using Twiddy. The home was spectacular, our favorite by far. The different levels in the pool allowed everyone to enjoy! Our two, two-year-olds loved playing in the shallow section and our six-year-old loved the 3 ft section. The adults LOVED the swim up bar. The hot tub was also a favorite retreat in the late hours of the evening. The game room and the movie theater were enjoyed by the teenagers. The cabana service on the beach was also a nice addition. The kitchen was stocked extremely well. Our 87 year old parents, enjoyed all the seating on the decks. We will be returning! We also give Twiddy & Company a 5 Star Review. We had a few maintenance requests and they arrived within 30 minutes of each request. The home was spotless and well maintained. Twiddy was easy to reach and answered all of our questions during the booking process. Would definitely use them in the future. Thank you both for an amazing week and wonderful memories."

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are new owners of the Perfect Storm. We have spent this off season working on improving the house for our guests' enjoyment. In addition, we are excited to reveal that one of the areas we are focusing on during the off season is creating space for an arcade room in the south garage.
