Rain or shine, you'll enjoy the fabulous ocean view from the deck, living room, dining table, and even from the kitchen. Bring your beach towel, but all other linens are provided, as are beach toys and chairs, so you can pack lighter because you will have stairs to get to the top (3rd) floor to access the condo. Our well-equipped kitchen lets you avoid the restaurant crowds entirely. Or relax with your take-out in the dining area: a table for six and a breakfast bar. Tech amenities include high-speed internet, Smart TVs, Roku, and a Blu-ray/DVD player. You can also plug in your game console or another HDMI device in the living room.
Open the window to the hear the waves while you rest in the king master bedroom, which includes a private bath. The colorful twin bedroom is perfect for kids and the queen bedroom is a quieter space down the hall. A full bath near the living area is also easily accessible from the other bedrooms.
The Duck Blind Villas condominium complex includes a 20x40 community pool, outdoor showers, a grilling area, a basketball goal, and a wooden walkway to the beach, including a dune deck. Full-sized coin-operated washers and dryers are in the building’s 1st floor laundry room.

If you have trouble walking up 3 flights of stairs you may want to book elsewhere (no elevator). The only negative is that there is no washer/dryer in the unit. There are coin operated washers/dryers in the building."

Having stayed at numerous other properties in Duck and throuhout the Outer Banks over several years, I can honestly say that this is the best. The condo is clean, well-maintained, comfortable, well equipped (but not cluttered), and the location can't be beat. The views from the deck and throuhgout the condo are amazing. Its just a short drive, bike ride or walk to the shops and restauarants in Duck. Twiddy has also been the best realtor that we have found in the OBX - easy to work with. If you are looking to rent a condo in Duck, look no further than Octopus' Garden!"

"We loved the location/quick access to both beach and pool, and just a quick walk into town. Gorgeous view of the ocean from the deck, living room, and even the kitchen. Our kiddos really enjoyed the books and room to spread out at the kitchen table and do activities when they needed a break from the heat. Kitchen was very well stocked with any tool or utensil you may need. We will definitely come back!"

"We love the view from this condo. Whether you are at the kitchen sink, reading a book on the comfy sofa or enjoying the deck... the dunes and ocean are right in front of you. The unit is very well maintained and modern. The kitchen is stocked with great gadgets, pots and pans and even a popcorn maker for rainy days and a movie. The toy closet has kites, soccer balls, umbrella and beach chairs as well as other fun beach games like bocce. It is an easy walk into Duck. The sunrises from the deck or the sunsets from the screened in porch are magnificent. Also, if you are working remotely, the internet is AMAZING."
"I've stayed at this condo for 3 years, and I cannot rave about it enough! The oceanfront views are amazing! The kitchen is completely outfitted with speciality items like a mixer, keurig, blender, nutribullet, etc. Tons of cook and bakeware. They have a plethora of beach items (umbrellas, chairs, toys) for use by the renters. Wifi and smart TVs. It is always clean, and the fact that linens are provided makes packing such a breeze. The owners are hospitable and want to know your feedback and are so welcoming! Definitely recommend and will continue to return!"

You have a good point and we will see about getting the description updated to be more clear about the washer and dryer. A few people at Duck Blind Villas do have them, but it was at the cost of space in other parts of the condo. Nevertheless, it is an amenity that we will seriously consider.
