Here Comes the Sun II

"Here Comes The Sun has everything a family could want in a beach house. It may not be as close to the ocean as one might like, but it puts you in easy walking distance to almost everything the town of Duck has to offer. Plus, the fitness center is right across the street. The rooms are spacious. The kitchen is huge. The dining room table is a showstopper. TV's in virtual every room. We love sitting in the shade on one of the many decks. The ground floor has some amazing artifacts on the walls, obviously carefully collected by the owners. You have to see it to believe it."

"What an absolutely incredible stay at Here Comes the Sun II. Here are some of the things we loved - 1.) We've been coming to the OBX for decades and have stayed in dozens of different houses. Never have we had such attentive and communicative owners as Josh and Heidi. They were so kind, thoughtful, and responsive. 2.) The home is beautiful and super functional for a rental property. In the kitchen alone, we had access to a Keurig, a ton of tupperware options, and a spice cabinet. Great bonuses for a vacation home. The rooms were great and had a lot of different options, from bunks to twin beds to kings, etc. A little something for everyone in our crew. 3.) The pool provided a lot of family fun and was a nice outlet for the kids to get out their energy without spending all our time on the beach. 4.) The location! We love staying at the Four Seasons for its amenities (community pools indoor and out, playground, easy beach access, etc.). It's also within walking distance of the Duck Town Boardwalk and some of our favorite shops and restaurants. It's a safe and connected community which felt great, especially when traveling with family. If you're thinking of booking, don't delay. We'll definitely be back for another stay!"

"Very spacious. Walking distance to beaches or you can take a trolley. Close to shopping. Great location .Home has everything you need. This was 2nd time at Here Comes the Sun. "We loved being so close to everything. The house is centrally located to so many things. We had everything we needed and then some. The new dining room table is absolutely beautiful and the whole house felt so spacious. Our family keeps growing and is so nice to stay in a house that allows us all to be together without feeling like we are tripping over each other. We had so much fun playing volley ball in the yard and swimming in the salt water pool. We can’t wait to do it all again. Thank you to the home owners and Twiddy for allowing us to enjoy such a wonderful week together ♥️"

"I have stayed in several places on OBX, but usually on the beach. This property was in a great location to travel to the Kitty Hawk area without terrible traffic on check in days. It was a 2 minute walk to downtown Duck which is always where the bottleneck is. We had to do something that we had not done before...take a dog. It is always more limited to what you are going to find when doing that. I will have to say I saw no signs of there being pets allowed on this property. It was clean and well appointed. We had very unusually cool weather, so the pool being at 85 degrees and working well was a real plus. I must say the the owners Josh and Heidi were the biggest difference maker. Never have I had someone send us a nice gift long before we even stayed. Then a starbucks card after. In the middle...immediately responsive to any questions or needs. These guys got it right on customer service which is a thing of the past. Great job Josh and Heidi!"

"The house is great for a group. The main level was perfect for our dinners and young children. The heated pool was a huge plus for the kids as well. The pool table, corn hole, and volleyball net kept us busy if we did not go to the beach or pool. We would definitely rent again from this house. The owners are also exceptional and provided great guidance of the area of Duck, which was awesome since none of us had been there before. Thank you!"

"Here Comes the Sun was perfect for our family reunion featuring 9 adults and 4 kids (w/ room to spare!). The location was great for walks into town and the pool delightfully secluded. The beach and community pool were an easy walk or drive with plenty of parking right at the beach access. The homeowners and Twiddy made our stay easy and we highly recommend this home!"

"This home was amazing! Perfect for any family. Fully appointed, spotlessly clean, wonderful owners. They communicated with us through the entire process and clearly want to be sure every guest who stays in their home has a truly wonderful experience. We wanted for nothing. The walk into Duck was short and easy to do. Convenient to so many shops and restaurants. The Four Seasons community is private and safe. We would definitely return to this home in the future."

"This was our eighth stay in a Twiddy home, and it was by far our favorite! Its convenient location is perfect for a short stroll to the beach or for walking to the shops, restaurants, and boardwalk in Duck. It is evident that the owners are very conscientious, and their care, upkeep, and attention to detail made our stay in Here Comes the Sun thoroughly enjoyable. The recent upgrades made the house feel fresh and comfortable. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the home, the organized and well-equipped kitchen, and the comfortable beds. Though the weather was cool, the new pool heater made it possible for my daughters to swim, and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Plus there is a lovely grilling area out back with plenty of room to set out food and dine al fresco! The owners sent a helpful welcome packet with great information about the house as well as dining and shopping recommendations, and they were available prior to and during our stay in case we had any questions. Overall, a 10 out of 10!"

"We love the location and amenities of this very well maintained house. Convenient and easy access to the beach for the ocean lovers and a pool and hot tub for those who want to see who is swimming with them. The shops are really close by so no need to take the car out in the traffic as long as you space out your trips. The young ones love the idea of a TV in their room and their parents bedroom has a porch where they can hide."

Great location – walkable to bakeries, restaurants, beach supplies etc. The trolley to the beach was super convenient and made getting to and fro from the beach a breeze. "My family have been coming to the OBX for 20+ years and Here Comes the Sun was by far the best beach house we have ever rented! The owners are very responsive and truly care about their renters and take great pride in their amazing house, inside and outside. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and all cabinets are labeled. Everything has been updated and it was very clean upon arrival. Twiddy does a great job. We had a family reunion here and everyone loved the house, the location, and the Four Seasons amenities. Our three grandchildren had so much fun and seeing their joy and happiness each day was priceless. No need for a car, as you can easily walk to the private beach, shops, restaurants and the Sound Boardwalk. We definitely will be coming back to Here Comes the Sun. We were all sad to have our week end."

"We absolutely LOVED our stay at Here Comes the Sun II. It was conveniently located close to the town, the indoor pool, the tennis courts and the pier. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was amazingly clean. The owners were exceptionally kind and it was apparent that many things in the house had been recently updated. We had tons of room in the house and loved all the outdoor seating options. The weather was cool for May, but we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the kids enjoyed the pool- even though a little chilly. We hope to come back to this same house next year."
