"5/27 to 6/3/2023. This is a beautiful house snuggled in the center of Duck . But private. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance, which we enjoyed. Very well-equipped kitchen and neatly displayed. Loved the theater room. Nice pool, and hot tub. Been coming to OBX for about 10 years. Always stayed ocean front. This was our first time on the sound. The weather was bad and did not see 1 beautiful sunset everyone talks about. SURE, COULD USE AN ELEAVATOR!!!"

"Location, location, location! Sound-Se-Ducktion is in the perfect location to enjoy Duck and all it has to offer. Very family friendly, beautifully appointed! The pool area is the perfect place to relax, and there is nothing better than experiencing the beautiful sunsets, either from the deck or the gazebo at the end of the pier."

"The location provides easy access to the boardwalk, Aqua, and the town of Duck without needing to drive at all. Nightly sunsets are beautiful. Beds are comfortable, and that’s a big win by itself. Wish it had an elevator."

"The home fit our family nicely and was in a great location. We really enjoyed the the home, the pool and the dock. Spent many a day fishing/crabbing off the dock or using the kayak and paddle boards. Kids (ranged 20-12) loved how close we were to the town so they could go explore or get some ice cream at night. Location was also great to easily enjoy many of the great eateries in Duck - NC Coast, Duck Deli, Duck Donuts and Donuts on a Stick. Also traveled down a bit to enjoy some eats at The Kill Devil Grill. Overall it was a nice relaxing week to spend with extended family."

"The home was fantastic, the amenities were great! The house was spotless and well taken care of. The sunsets were unbelievable and the pool was awesome. The location of the home was perfect to be able to walk into town. The four seasons had great amenities available to us, especially on check-in day when we were able to hang by the pool all day until our house was ready! Every bedroom was full of families and kids and the house never felt crowded, the house is very spacious an the floor plan was fantastic. Can’t wait to book next year’s vacation already!!"

"Great house...have rented it many times. Convenient location able to walk to shopping & restaurants. Love that the Christmas trees and holiday decorations were in the house when we arrived, made our stay extra special. Especially love that each bedroom has their own bathroom and located on all 3 floors. We will be back to this house again."

"This house is amazing! It is in THE best location...about a 2 minute walk to the stores and restaurants and 15 minute walk to the beach using the Four Seasons access. We didn't hear the next door restaurant noise or music except the 430am garbage pickup a few times. It came with a 2 person kayak, a paddleboard, a child kayak, a crab pot, and lots of life vests and bicycles. Inside the kitchen was an amazing ice maker and wine fridge, Keurig, Crockpot etc (no air fryer so bring that if it's a necessity). The house also came with a crib / mattress and baby gate. We stayed with 4 children under 2 and our only disappointment with the house was the backyard. It was not grass like the pictures, and instead was rough wood mulch which was NOT toddler friendly. The gate to the stairs leading to the sound doesn't always latch and there was also no separation between the mulched area and the pool, so there was no way for one or two adults to watch all of the kids at one time and keep them from falling into the pool. A gate of some sort would improve the backyard tremendously. Overall though, it is a great house for adults and older kids and we'd love to stay here again in a few years!"

"There are quite a few pros of this house - location by the boardwalk, pool with tanning ledge, great outdoor furniture, views, and layout. However, there are cons that hurt the overall experience - noise from Aqua next door (delivery trucks, employees, etc), road noise, tired condition of the home, and lack of kid friendly kitchen items. This is our first rental where there have been no plastic cups (aside from wine "glasses") and no small forks. Every other house we have rented in the last 10 years has had some form of plastic cups and kid friendly utensils."

"This home was beautiful. The owners take very good care of it. It is in the perfect location on the sound in Duck. We were able to walk to the shops, restaurants, and ice cream shops. The home had a kayak, paddleboard, and beach chairs. The sunsets from the covered private dock were priceless. There is alo a gas firepit we used to make smores and just enjoy the fire. One of the best homes we have stayed in and we have come every year for the last 15 years on family vacation. The home offers keyless entry also. The ladies in the Four Seasons Clubhouse are very nice and made getting our beach parking passes simple. The only thing the home needs is a bigger WiFi to cover all the floors because the signal gets lost on their current system. My family can't wait to return this fall and next summer. Although Covid-19 is upon us everyone followed social distancing and mask. Everyone we encountered was happy to be there and pleasant. That's how vacation should be!"

"I'm giving this home 5-stars for two reasons: view and location - both which simply can't be beat if you want to enjoy the water and have an "in town" experience. You never tire of waking to the spectacular sound views, and the folks that built this home made sure each of the four king rooms have a view... brilliant! The home is the most well-equipped home we've ever enjoyed. From every kitchen tool, to really nice beach chairs, bikes and boats all to accommodate your group. The one thing I'll mention as a caveat is do know that you're staying right next to a restaurant. Trash will be picked up at 0430 and food delivered at 0630 - capitalism in motion! Don't pass on this place, however, just put your "sound" sleepers on that side of the house!"
