"The home was magnificent! We had a ton of space for our large family and with not the best weather there was a ton of room to spread out. This home is built very sturdily and is pretty sound proof which is nicer than other homes we have rented. Twiddy was very responsive to all our needs!"

"The house has something for everybody—great spaces to gather and quiet places to be alone. The owners have thought of everything from the huge fully equipped kitchen to the coffee bars on each floor, from the pub bar to the outdoor pool venue. The bedrooms are all comfortable and offer views in every direction. For us it affords the perfect vacation!"

"We loved absolutely everything about this house. It was perfect for our purpose of bringing multiple families together for our Thanksgiving tradition. The kitchen was fully stocked, the common areas were spacious and beautifully furnished. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We used the amenities to their fullest: the movie theater, hot tubs, pool, pickleball, ground floor play area, horseshoes, game room, bar room…We couldn’t be more excited to stay here again!"

"Great home!! We really enjoyed ourselves! Incredibly well stocked kitchen and tons of games. All the TV remotes and home speakers were super easy to use… even my elderly mother figured it out without ANY questions! Lol. Under the house is PERFECT for kids… honestly the whole house was perfect for the kids! Pretty sure there were more games than what was pictured. The layout/design was great… it’s clear the owners really though through a LOT of details! Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves. Only things I’d mention that the owners could do diff / better is the room numbers noted in the floor plan layout do not match the numbers that are on the rooms within the house… had us a little confused on who was in what room when we first got there. Could also use one more fridge.. maybe in the pool area… they did have a yeti cooler outside for drinks and a cart to bring snacks up n down from the kitchen though."

"This was a beautiful, comfortable home with every possible amenity you could think of. While that’s true of many Twiddy homes we’ve rented in the past, Palmer’s Panorama was truly unique in its views of both ocean and sound. Morning walks on the beach, sitting on the porch swing drinking coffee and watching the sunrise, afternoons by the pool, fishing and kayaking in the sound - not to mention evening sunsets - in this home we were able to enjoy every experience the Outer Banks has to offer!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Palmers Panorama. It was the perfect home for our large family. We have 23 grandchildren aged 8 months to 18 years and there was always something for the kids to do or explore right on the property. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Family groups did excursions during the day and we would come together every evening for our meals in the wonderful kitchen. It was a great way to celebrate our anniversary with our kids and their families."

"This home is a dream. We had over 30 people, including children, and you wouldn't have known. So much space and the views are breathtaking. The pool was large and perfect for entertaining the littles when we weren't on the beach. Of course, the hot tubs and upstairs bar were a great way for the adults to relax later in the evening. Cannot recommend this place enough. We would LOVE to come back!"

"This home was comfortable, beautiful and clean. Each bathroom and bedroom was unique and well decorated. The bed linens were top-notch. The kitchens were all well stocked with up-to-date appliances and cook-ware. The pool area and all the game rooms were fun and included every game a person could imagine. Best house we have ever rented for a big group!"

"To call this a "home" is a huge understatement. It's more of a mansion on the shore. The owners/designers were good enough to find a spot with world class views of the ocean and the water to the west. They didn't spare the horses in furnishing the place. We heard while we were there that it's being marketed for sale for 10 million. Somehow that didn't surprise me."

"Our week at Palmer's Panorama was amazing! We had a group of 27, and the home was plenty large enough that we didn't feel on top of each other. Our group's ages ranged from 8-79, and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed the house. We loved all the homes' amenities, and thought the location was perfect. You really cannot beat the sunrises and sunsets!"

"Palmer's Panorama suits our family of 15 this year--17 last year --to a T. All bedrooms are good size, with bathrooms; The 3 master suites are superb! the kitchen is large and very well organized-every item you could need (we did feel another refrigerator would have been welcome. more refrigerator-less freezer); we were able to seat all15 at the table this year--probably could have squeezed in 17 if needed. Many nice lounge areas. The bar was a big hit. This year we were able to use the decks. last year the midgies used them. The game area got more action this year.- maybe because we went out less. And the pool is wonderful. With the hurricane this year the pool got extra use. The over-all decor of the house is very pleasant. Nice soft colors in main living areas. All bedrooms and other lounge areas tastefully decorated . Very lovely home. We are very disappointed to have to find another home for next year. We regret that the policy of the renter for this year no longer having priority for same time next year. I was notified a few weeks before our reservation this year that only ONE WEEK remained available for Palmer's Panorama for the 2021 summer. That was the 3rd week of June, and did not work for our family as my son already had plans for a golf trip. Luckily, we were able to find a lovely home available the last week of June 2021. For 20 years we have vacationed in the Pine Island area either the end of July or early August. It will be very different going in June this coming year. I am requesting notification if a cancellation occurs for Palmer's Panorama for late July or early August. The family keeps growing, consequently we keep needing more bedrooms. We loved Pride and Joy (now Carpe Beachem) for nearly 10 years. We had other beautiful homes including, Ain't Misbehavin', which we outgrew, and for now Palmer's Panorama is perfect. Hopefully we can return again some year, if it still fits. Faithful to Twiddy for 20 years!!"

"Palmer’s Panorama has proven to be just what the family ordered! We knew from the photo’s that nothing could come close to what this home has to offer. We made the best of our time together, since the last months have been difficult because of Covid-19. Having ordered most of our food online, and having it delivered and put away before we got to the house made a huge difference. Every room was perfectly clean, sanitized, and ready for all of my family. Surfing, fishing, boogie boarding, on our private beach was amazing! The pool was just what we needed after a long day in the sand. We got great use out of the two grills almost every night. Our meals were fantastic. We actually planned and put together Olympic Games one night that included 6 different events. The games provided us with hours of family fun. Celebrating in the Yuengling Pub made us feel like we were out on the town while never leaving the home! The best part about this vacation is knowing that we will be returning to Palmer’s Panorama next summer!"
