"The home was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Its location right on the beach was my favorite part. The beds were very comfortable and the sunroom was a perfect place to read. We enjoyed the books on the shelves—very nice and current selection. The laundry area was conveniently located. Loved the Rubbermaid tubs to dunk feet at the top of the stairs. The outside hose and foot de-sanding station were perfect. Really kept sand OUT of the house. There were plenty of beach chairs and a boogie board that the kids loved. The screen in the second master was not on track when we arrived. We put it back in but it did not roll smoothly. One suggestion would be that some basic supplies be added to a welcome package—a roll of paper towels, a box of tissues, garbage bags for each can, small dishwashing soap, dish scrubber, plastic wrap and/or tin foil. There were 3 rolls of toilet paper left on the counter but we were surprised that there were not clean garage bags left in the kitchen cans. It would also be nice if a hairdryer were provided. I appreciate the “take all food” policy but would not have minded some salt, pepper or other common spices if they had been left behind. If we stayed again, I’d be sure to bring some pantry items. The dining room was great—we ate in 5 of the 7 nights and it was one of our favorite memories. Overall a lovely, comfortable home and beautiful place to spend a week!"

Duck is our favorite spot on the Outer Banks, and we delight in having beautiful weather, interesting things to do, and a terrific house to enjoy!"

The only drawback to the house is the public beach access next door, not because it is next door, but because it is difficult to walk up and down the dune at the end of the walkway."

"The Dutts Inn Dune was magnificent! The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. Very convenient amenities such as the water hose and foot washer at the entrance to the house on the back side as you come back from the beach! There was an outdoor bathroom with two showers as well. They thought of everything for everyday living at the beach - when they built that house. We will be back!!!"

"Absolutely loved this home. The decorating was so gorgeous. The kitchen was well-appointed (nice change from other homes). The beds were comfortable. The high top table and captain chairs on the deck should be a requirement for all ocean front homes! Two outdoor showers and a bathroom- what could be better?! We loved it and will be back!"
