Experience the casual comfort of “Carolina Nine” in Duck! Located directly on the oceanfront, the gorgeous ocean views are yours to enjoy throughout your stay.
The great room on the top floor of the home was designed for gathering and offers a beautiful ocean view as a backdrop. Kick back and relax in the comfortable living area. The kitchen is stocked with all that you need to prepare meals throughout your stay, just stock your groceries. Enjoy the conveniences of a pantry, induction cook top (complete with appropriate cookware and utensils), trash compactor, garbage disposal, large refrigerator, huge island, ice maker (in additiona to the ice maker in the bar area) and a wide range of appliances as well as a microwave and conventional oven. Two dishwashers are a huge help when cleaning up. Enjoy meals together in the dining area nearby. Additional seating is available at the kitchen counter as well as the smaller table in the living area. There is a den and a full bathroom on the third floor. The bar area, with its own seating that overlooks the ocean, has all new appliances-a wine fridge, beverage fridge, ice maker, sink and decorative storage cabinet for glasses. A half bathroom can be found on the landing between the second and third floors of the home. Outside, enjoy your morning coffee with the sunrise over the ocean from the spacious deck. Salty breezes can be enjoyed at any time of the day on the deck.
The second floor of the home consists of sleeping quarters. There are three master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. Two additional bedrooms and one full bathroom can also be found on the second floor, as well as covered decks. There are two work-from-home stations, one off one king bedroom, the other in the flex room.
Outside on the ground floor, enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub or relax nearby on the deck. From the deck, there is a private walkway to the beach that includes a dune deck, perfect for sitting and watching the pelicans fly by. The outdoor showers are perfect for washing the sand away after a day at the beach. With a location in the heart of Duck Village, this home is within walking distance of shopping, dining, and entertainment. The Schooner Ridge neighborhood offers impressive community amenities, including an indoor pool and fitness center, tennis courts, and an outdoor pool. Plenty of room for family but on this trip it was a wonderful getaway for my wife and I for our 40th wedding anniversary. "Great house and location for Christmas. Beautiful ocean view from the large wall of windows on the top level. It looks like the house had been updated recently. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a large steaming pot. The ice machine was a nice touch and probably gets heavily used in the summer. One suggestion - a modern gas grill would be much easier. I'm glad we weren't planning to grill during this trip. Overall, we loved it and will be looking into summer dates as well."
