"The house was very close to shops, restaurants, and the ocean. And the elevator was very much appreciated. A couple of the drawbacks were the leaking hot tub, the clothes dryer did not work, and the foosball table was uneven and only had 2 balls. Overall the trip was enjoyable and we look forward to our next trip to the area. We have been vacationing there for 30 years!"

"Terraqua is a great house to stay in. The beds are very comfy and the pillows are great. Very well appointed kitchen very organized with everything easy to find, even had a garbage disposal which is unusual in this area. TV's that are easy to figure out ;) plenty of seating in the living room and tons of light. Beautiful decks with a lot of outdoor furniture to enjoy. We have already booked for next year :)"

"We loved this home on Scarborough Drive! This house has the largest bedrooms I have ever seen in a rental. The elevator is located outside the actual home and accessed by the decks. This means the mechanical noise doesn't bother anyone sleeping. There's plenty of counter space and the kitchen is well stocked. It is located between the beach and Scarborough Faire, perfect for a dinner out or a day at the beach. We have already booked for next year."

"Spacious. Located convenient to both beach and stores. Amenities were as advertised: Pool, Hot tub, shower, elevator, we fully used all of them. Kitchen had expected dishes and silverware. 3 Coffee makers was a nice surprise (BTW you should list whether the house has a Keurig or not. It would help us with our preTrip grocery shopping.) Keyless entry, was great, all I needed was a text, and within minutes of receiving that, the traffic cleared and we were in the Air Conditioned house."

"We have vacationed in Corolla for the last 30 years - 20 of which as homeowners in Corolla. Each year, we spend a week with my parents and need to rent a home with an elevator. We were very happy with this home. It was exceptionally clean (felt like it had never been rented) and the kitchen was extremely well-stocked. We loved the equally easy walking access to shops/restaurants and the beach. The community is lovely! The layout of the home was perfect and the pool was amazing. It was perfect for us and we plan to return next year."

"Great distance to the beach, Duck boardwalk, and shops. The house and the pool were great. Plenty of deck space on all levels for sitting outside and a screened in area for rainy days. We usually don't see a slower cooker or pressure cooker in the kitchen, both were a great find and very useful. We loved the raised sitting area with the table, opening the windows and doing puzzles. One of the best houses we've stayed in. Wish it would have been pet friendly."

"Love the location! House is in the middle of the street. Quick walk to the beach and a quick walk to the shops and boardwalk. The pool was perfect for the family. We had 10 people there and the house was wonderful. We loved the top level open concept. The elevator was nice for unloading our luggage and our big grocery haul. The house had plenty of beach chairs to take to the beach. House was clean and the kitchen had all the dishes, appliances and grill utensils you need. The sound system by the pool was a great perk! And the two outdoor showers were great when returning from the beach. Highly recommend!"

"TerrAqua is in a great neighborhood. Quiet, near the ocean and shopping. The house is well stocked, lots of great decks, large pool, and lots of streaming choices on the smart tv."

"This is a great house!! We loved the layout, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms with adequate furniture throughout. The location is perfect - a short walk or bike ride to the beach and many great shops and restaurants. We rented bikes from a rental service, but then found 2 in an unlocked outdoor closet when we arrived, a nice bonus. We also used the propane grill a couple nights, even though the house wasn't advertised as having one. The house had plenty of beach chairs, a basketball, a volleyball (to use on the private court pictured but not listed as an amenity), and some pool toys. There were plenty of books, puzzles, and games. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed, and then some. We had a few issues which were more service related than the house itself. The elevator doors were all locked so we had to call Twiddy to come and unlock it for us on Sunday - we missed out using it during our check-in since the office was closed when we arrived late Saturday afternoon. The house had not been cleaned properly by the service that seemed to be running late, as they were still there when the first in our party arrived at 4pm. There were a couple of twin beds with dirty/sandy sheets, the kitchen table and counters needed additional cleaning, and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Our biggest complaint was the WiFi service. During our first 2 days there the speed was poor in some rooms and then it went completely out. It took almost the entire week and several service calls until it was resolved. Twiddy gave us a temporary hot spot after our second complaint, but it needed to be moved around to different rooms to be useful. Luckily the weather was great and we had plenty to keep us busy each day so we weren't too upset about the lack of internet service. Overall, the house was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again."

"We stayed in this home the week of 5/1-5/8/2021. We absolutely loved this home! Everything was nice and when we had an issue they came right out to assist us. The house was supplied with everything we needed from kitchen supplies to linens and the elevator was a huge plus- especially if you have anyone with disabilities in your group!! The pictures of the rooms, their sizes and quality do not do it justice. All the rooms are big and so spacious that you could fit an extra blow up bed in them if needed! This home is in the perfect spot! The street entrance is smack dab in the middle of downtown duck!! So you can ride your bike or walk and have everything at your fingertips tips! Its also Only a few houses from the ocean! Its a very short ride to Walmart and other stores, and a 20 minute ride to the light house in Corolla. You can walk out onto the boardwalk pier and watch the sunset over the sound and watch the sun rise over the ocean! And FYI.. the beach has crabs out at night if its warm enough.. it was a really cool experience The hot tub was the perfect temp- just make sure you put the cover on between uses and the pool is not heated so be prepared♡♡ We had an amazing experience and had a blast! Enjoy every minute of your stay!!!"

"We loved the house and property. The kitchen was very well outfitted which was a blessing. All the furnishings were comfortable. We wished that the king-size bed on the second floor was in the largest bedroom but that wasn't a show stopper."

"Our group really enjoyed this home and our week in Duck. Scarborough Lane is the best location. The only things that could have been better: 1) The master bedroom on the first floor has two extremely uncomfortable twin beds. They really need to be replaced, preferably with a single queen or king bed. 2) The hot tub was broken the entire trip. The pool company did come out but the hot tub kept tripping the circuit breaker. The hot tub looked quite old and small. I think no more than 3 adults would be comfortable in it. It too should be replaced. Having said that, everything else was great. The elevator is a huge bonus for move-in and move-out day! Great pool."
