Knowing many, loving none except “Sweet Melissa” on the Outer Banks! Located on the oceanfront in South Nags Head, this modern and well-equipped retreat has a beach cottage feel for an authentic OBX experience. There’s room for your entire family, as this home offers ten bedrooms and a great selection of amenities. Your dog is welcome to join too, as this home is pet friendly.
Upon entering the great room on the home’s top floor, you are greeted by gorgeous views of the ocean and natural light. The living area offers comfortable furnishings, perfect for watching your favorite show or relaxing after a long day outside. Prepare meals for your entire family in the kitchen, which includes two dishwashers to assist with cleanup. Your whole squad can gather in the spacious dining area for big family meals. A wet bar is available in the dining area for convenient beverage access. If needed, additional seating is available at the kitchen counter barstools. There is also a small table for two near an oceanfront window, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee. Step out onto the deck with your morning coffee to watch a stunning sunrise over the ocean. The spacious sun deck also serves as a great place to enjoy late-afternoon charcuterie and a beverage as you listen to the waves lap the shore nearby. A half bathroom is included on the top level for convenience.
There are two master bedrooms on the third floor, each with a private bathroom. There is a whirlpool tub in one of the master bathrooms. On the middle floor, you’ll find an additional master bedroom, which includes a private bathroom and access to the deck. Two additional bedrooms share a bathroom between them, and one of the bedrooms has access to the covered deck. There are two more bedrooms and one full bathroom on the middle level, as well as laundry facilities. On the ground floor, you’ll find three additional bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms share a full bathroom between them. There is an additional full bathroom as well as a half bathroom.
Entertainment and convenience make up the remainder of the home’s ground floor. Gather around the pool table for some friendly competition or attempt to get the highest score on the arcade game. If you’d like to just chill, a sofa and TV are also available in the rec room. When hunger or thirst strikes, a kitchenette with a refrigerator and dishwasher is mere steps away. A second set of laundry facilities is also available on the ground floor.
Outside, fun in the sun will be at the top of your vacation agenda. Take a dip in the private pool or simply lounge around in the sunshine. The grill and table make for a convenient lunch or dinner poolside. When you’re ready to get your toes in the sand, the private walkway to the beach is accessible from the pool area. At the top of the walkway, there is a bench, perfect for taking a quick break or for staying awhile and watching the pelicans fly by. This section of South Nags Head includes just two rows of homes, so beaches are uncrowded and expansive. Shopping, dining, and entertainment options in Nags Head are located a short drive from the house. After a memorable stay in this home, your family will always run to “Sweet Melissa” on the Outer Banks!
